First dates are always difficult for most of the people. The conversation you have at your first date creates a big impact on your relationship.

1.       Never ask your date about their past relationships. This can be a messy question. While some guys take it quite easily, things may be different for girls. Girls usually hate to discuss about their past relations to someone who barely knows them.

2.       If your date turns up a bit late, do not fuss about it. It would be better if you simply give her or him an amusing smile. It would be a bit awkward if you ask your date about the reason for getting late.

3.       For a girl it is important to remember that she should not ask her date about his income or salary. If you ask that the guy might feel that you are looking for someone rich.

4.       If you are a guy going on a date with someone for the first time, then you should never ask her to come over to your place. It is not a good idea if you are meeting her for the first or second time. If you have been friends for a long time then the case is different.

5.       On your first date with a girl never even think of asking her about her age. Do not even ask her questions like the year she graduated. Girls in general are not comfortable about disclosing their age to someone they barely know.

6.       At your first date, you should limit your talks to certain general topics. Do not ask too much about the other person’s personal and family life. Some people may not be comfortable with such questions. And some might even feel that you are way too nosy.

7.       Even if your first date with someone goes really well, never ask your partner to kiss you. This could be a bad sign and it might really turn off the other person if he or she is not ready for that.

8.       After your first date when it is time to say goodbye, never ask the girl to give you a call. This might make you sound like a desperado. You don’t want to scare away someone with your over eagerness.

9.       While dropping your girlfriend at her doorstep do not feel tempted to enter her apartment. Do not ask her whether you can come over. It is too early for such a move. Even if she invites you, force yourself to say NO. Same is the case with girls too. Do not ask your guy if he would take her to his apartment.
